FLU KILLS OVER 250 PEOPLE IN HONG KONG

Everybody wearing mask in hospital to prevent infection of flu
Starting from January, over 350 adults have been admitted to intensive care unit because of seasonal influenza.   Over 250 among the cases are killed; flu death toll in last year is 149.  The deadly flu is caused by Influenza A (H3N2) which is a mutated variant virus newly found in human.  Vaccine is only expected available until April.  The elderly, children and immunocompromised patients bear the brunt.  Meanwhile, personal hygiene and environmental cleanliness should help prevent the further widespread of the disease.  For Christians, let us pray for the protection of our city and the frontline health staff.
